Here's some cool info:

Tai Chi for the Immune System: Researchers at UCLA, UCSD, and the San Diego Veterans Affairs Healthcare System concluded that regular tai chi exercises boost the immune system for older adults.  A study of 112 healthy adults, published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society,  which measured tai chi against vaccine-stimulated levels of cell-mediated immunity (CMI) to varicella zoster virus (VZV) found that the tai chi group's immune system response was nearly twice that of the group that took health education classes instead of participating in the tai chi practices 3 times a week for 4 months.

Loving Massage: Consumers receive more than 230 million massage sessions annually. (Massage & Bodywork, Oct./Nov. 2007, pg. 19)

You are what you eat!:  The food you eat goes directly to feeding all of the cells of your body.  Your body needs a diverse supply of quality foods for optimal function.

Common misconception... "Most people can not afford to eat clean and healthy food."
Fact: As a society Americans spend about 1/10th of our disposable income on food, down from 1/5th in the 1950's.  Americans today spend less on food, as a percentage of disposable income, than any other industrialized nation, and probably less than any people in the history of the world.

Many of us can afford to spend more on food... if we choose to.

The above info on food facts was derived from a book I consider to be amazing: The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan (see pg. 243).
